After brunch, walk around the block to Raleigh Denim Workshop where you can shop for men's and women's raw selvage denim jeans made right in Raleigh. The shop is in an old brick warehouse and you can see into the production area where the jeans are made by hand. The store also carries their own line of shirts and dresses as well as items from other designers.

Stroll another block in the warehouse district to reach Father and Son Antiques. A huge space with beautiful mid-century modern furniture, art and accessories, as well as a large selection of reasonably priced vintage clothing for men and women in the back.

This is one of the not-to-be missed spots in Raleigh which mixes a craft brewery with an in-house flower shop and bookstore as well as amazing dim sum cuisine. There is often a wait, but you can browse the curated selection of books while you sip a craft cocktail or brew. Try the crab fried rice that comes wrapped in a layer of egg or the amazing pork buns and shu mai.

Brewerks Cafe & Historic Oakwood
Next head to the neighborhood just 1/2 mile north of downtown to tour the Historic Oakwood neighborhood. This historically preserved slice of Old Raleigh includes several blocks of Victorian homes which circle the historic Oakwood Cemetery.
Wander your way through the treelined streets with welcoming porches and marvel at the different architectural details. Stop for a coffee at Brewerks and then make your way to the stone gates of Oakwood Cemetery to stroll through the beautiful historic cemetery grounds.
