‘Sleepy Head Go To Bed’ early 1900s Dress
Upcycled, cotton and lace early 1900s nightgown with appliqué from a homemade 1960s pillowcase. Across the chest sit three embroidered panels that read, “sleepy head go to bed,” with appliqué of a kid in pjs yawning next to a bed. The dress fastens with three buttons at the chest and comes with elbow-length sleeves, a lace collar, armbands, and ruffles across the back, shoulders, and chest.
Upcycled slow, in house, and by hand.

*Note: The appliqué has a few rust spots the size of a pinprick (photographed last). Not noticeable when worn.
