Hand-Inked Victor Costa Slip Dress
1980s, Victor Costa for Miss Bergdorf slip dress with hand-inked designs. At the front of the dress,' HECHO MAL,' sits scrawled across the square neckline in old english font with a dagger and bleeding heart at the center of the chest. Seven strings of blood drip down to a butterfly made of bone at the pelvis, a person encircled with barbed wire, and a tower entrance with tiny eyes peeking out at the hem. At the mid-back through the butt are two snarling wolves biting through chains, with a black crescent moon and blown out candle at the base.
The dress comes with pink spaghetti straps, a square neckline, a zipper closure at the center back, and shaping through the natural waistline and hips. Material is shiny, textured and semi-sheer.
All ink-work was done slow, in-house and by hand from original artwork.
